The Camino teaches balance in not so obvious ways.
We push forward, but not so hard that we break.
Rest, but not so long that we fear going back to the trail.
Carry what we need, but let go of what only adds weight to a back pack that continues to feel heavier.
Help others, and be what “the Camino provides”.
Some days the right decision is walking.
Some days it is in listening to our bodies and resting.
Today, balance means honoring the rain, the slick stones, the climb ahead, and the wounded feet of those we love.
The Camino will still be there tomorrow.

Thank you Chris!
I agree with Chris. I never knew you had such literary talents.
Bravo Loretta! Do this for those who cannot. Beautifully written but that doesn’t surprise me!
Congrats to everyone ! I followed your trip daily and really enjoyed the pics. Loretta, your descriptions of your daily adventures were exceptional…..I felt like I was there ! As I took my 2 mile walks on nice smooth streets, I could only imagine what you guys went through daily ! What an accomplishment! Travel safe.
