5/6/26 Leave Vila do Conde going to Agucadoura (7.5 mi)
A shorter day!
Day 3 on the Camino. A lighter stretch—about 7.5 miles. (actual miles—-10.5 miles)
Easier on the legs and feet, but not exactly a visual highlight reel. We walked along miles of open ocean and sand. I love the ocean, but somewhere around mile one, I realized I was seeing what mile seven had to offer.
The wind started to pick up along the way, the kind that makes you glance up and wonder what’s rolling in. Feels like the weather is turning—like something’s on its way.
We met a lovely couple from Australia. They walked with us awhile, and shared a fantastic lunch of fresh Sardines and branzino accompanied by salad and potatoes. We hope to see them tomorrow.
